Thank you for visiting. Schell Creek is located in rural Marysville, Kansas which is in the northeast corner of the state. We are dedicated to raising quality, happy, healthy puppies that meet breed standards. Take your time browsing around and if you do not see the specific puppy that you have in mind, please give us a call as we may have a new litter that is not yet listed.
At Schell Creek we strive to raise quality, happy, healthy puppies at affordable prices. We breed for conformation and breed type. Many of our parents have champion backgrounds.
Each Schell Creek puppy is sold with a limited registry unless another agreement is reached before the sale. Our puppies are sold as "companion" animals and not sold as either "show quality" or "pet quality". Many puppies have left Schell Creek as show potential but instead will be your lifelong companion. Italian Greyhound puppies are AKC registered and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are ACA registered.
All puppies are health checked and released by our veterinarian prior to traveling to your home. A one year health guarantee is also offered by Schell Creek. Each puppy is current on vaccines and wormings. You will need to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian for the initial health check and to establish a vaccination schedule. Please strictly adhere to the schedule. Your puppy will also be implanted with a Home Again micro-chip for identification.
We are a very small kennel which allows us to spend quality time with each adult dog and puppy. A new kennel was built in 2002 which includes heated floors, airconditioning, textured walls, fresh blankets and bedding, and of course, their choice of music. At weaning time each puppy is removed from their mother and introduced to a playpen with a litterbox. The Italian Greyhound puppies take to the litterbox method fairly quick while the Cavalier puppies would prefer to do their "business" outside. Here at Schell Creek, we love our animals dearly and will expect you to do the same. Each puppy has been very well socialized and encourage you as the new owner to continue the socialization. Puppy kindergarten classes and obedience classes are strongly suggested. An obedient pet is a true joy.
